ohh damn you foreigners exploiting our wildlife

a friend of mine in facebook posted a link about these foreigners hunting Philippine's local wildlife in the "Philippine Jungle Safari". It includes Tamaraws, Wild Boars, Philippine Crocodiles, Wild Cats, Civets, and Sambar deers which are listed as endangered species by the DENR, as far as i concern.

when you say "endangered species", these are animals that are in danger to be extinct and under the law in the Philippines you cannot hunt or kill any animals listed as "endangered species" or else you walk down to your cell and go fucked by your perverted inmates unless you kill it accidentally.

LIPSIDE

I didn't know that Dubai has its own scene until these guys showed us that there is. Well, as Mike (vox) told us in their thread in diypinoyhcpunk.com, they are the only hardcore/thrash in Dubai which has no d.i.y. scene.

Lipside is an all-Filipino hardcore band hailed from Dubai. They composed of Pj Soliman (drums), McKie Alvarez (bass), Janjan Labra (guitars) and Mike Mendoza (vox) and they are currently working on their EP.

Mike send me mediafire links of three of their songs "If We Are One", "Choice", and "When You Pushe Us Down" as a token for my appreciation to their music. (and i'm still listening to them while i;m writing this post lol). As i indulge in their tune, i quickly found myself daydreaming about a wild moshpit with circle pits, floorpunches, sing-along, epic pile-ups and my favorite, two step breakdowns. lol

Oyeah i wished that they would come here in the Philippines and have a tour. good luck for their EP! :D

UMIIBANG LEVEL NA! PARANG PELIKULA LANG!

UMIIBANG LEVEL NA! PARANG PELIKULA LANG!

While the Maguinadanao massacre main suspect, Mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr., is still in custody, Mayor Toto Mangudadatu survived an attempt to slay him in a mall in Davao earlier.

A man in white tshirt approached Vice Mayor Toto and grabbed a gun from one of the bodyguards. He failed to do so and escaped through the hardware store where he was caught by 2 of Toto's bodyguards and shoot him dead.

I remember those action films, articles and documents about important events with suspense which make up into history. One of which is the Brunei Sultanate conspiracy during the first era of Spanish colonization of the Philippines where some of Lakandula's grandsons planned a negotiation with the Brunei Sultan Saiful Rijal in an island in Palawan to restore Manila to the Lakandula but spoiled because of a Cuyonin fisherman reported the secret agenda to the Spanish authorities. The sultan returned suddenly and Lakandula's grandsons were arrested there by a Spanish captain stationed near the venue of the meeting.

Another is a movie "Vintage Point" where it shows series of significant events about the conspiracy of the terrorist on their plot to kidnap the US president and attack his visit in Salamanca, Spain using bombs.

The Mayor Mangungudatu's survival from an attempted slay is like a significant event in an ongoing movie we called "Maguindanao Wars". I can't believe this is happening. I hope this movie has its happy ending. Justice for those who died in the massacre.

Chinitaphile to the core!

Chinitaphile - a slang term we used in filmet to denote an individual who has a fetish or crushes on beautiful Japanese, Koreans, Chinese or anyone who's "singkitin".

and i am one of them :">

and i got hooked on this all-femme school uniformed j-rock band SCANDAL

with Mami Sasazaki (guitar/vox), Rina Suzuki (drums/vox), Haruna Ono (guitars/vox), and Tomomi Ogawa (bass/vox). i love all these girls NYEHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! *evil grin*

i got a little research about them. they were started high school friends from Osaka who decided to make songs of their own and as they progress they began to play n different bars in Osaka, Kyoto and later in Shibuya then made their way to nationwide and worldwide theater.

they also began making songs for promotions like their song "BEAUteen" which shows their drummer drinking Pocari sweat, "Space Ranger" as the opening for Kyoto Sports Weekly, "Koi Moyou" as the main song for Corazon de Melon, and my favorite "Shoujo S"as the opening for Bleach.

i don't have any idea how they got their name "SCANDAL". anyway, this a music video frm their song Shoujo S

OHH YEAH I LOVE THEIR CHOREOGRAPHY!!!!!!!!!

Demolition of False Progression album launch @c4a

ohh yeah good thing i was in Manila two days before the show but i didn't realized how far c4a from Manila area (i travelled from Pandacan where i stayed for a night via LRT2 and MRT. IT WAS FUCKIN EXHAUSTING ESPECIALLY WITH ALMOST 4 KILOS OF BAGGAGE).

This is the first of the two series of Demolition of False Progession's album launches (another is at the saltwater bar which is happening right now! hahaha shoot i still have runny nose and colds >.<)

anyway, got greeted by my friend Lomi of Talk Sick and his crew and scored some of their sauteed tokwa to add for my baon (laing and cooked rice) nyehaha!

met new friends like SOX of Iligan's DelMonstros who's currently working in Manila. ohh he's the sickest mosh pit warrior at that night (tangina sa'n ka pa? sunod sunod na flying kick! hahaha!). also i met Prex of iSTAR production and her friend Eve and gave her our demos and my pasalubong (mik-mik) hahaha

D.F.P., our album launch celebrant, showcase their songs first.

WEST brings the crowd in the front and played their signature song and a kickin' cover Overcome of the band Terror. >:P

Mortal Fear was the only death metal band at that show but still they awed the audiences with their performances :D\m/

the crowd really get wild when Bystorm played their kick-ass songs. real fun with those slamming and epic pile-ups hahaha

ohh of course i didn't let my opportunity to represent Laguna in the mosh pit get loose. good thing Glenn is there to watch and he's a good person who can hold my digicam. hahaha while i'm surfing throught the raging waves of the mosh warriors i let him do the photos. hehehe

Piledriver also played their kick ass songs and made the people in the mosh pit go wild. hahaha

after that, i joined Reggie and Gin on our way home to Laguna. good thing we are using Reggie's car and i still got my last hundred bucks (which is originally intented for a bus ride) to buy some food and water while travelling home.

phhheeeewwwwww.....

Bhumisvaraputram

i have a new side project Bhumisvaraputram (ok, ganire na lang pag kaka pronounce niyan "bu-mis-swa-ra-put-tram"). it is a death metal/grindcore composing me, josh, and jep of goremitory/fuckbelias. its name is i roughly formulated from Sanskrit which means "sons of earthly tone" which describes the weight of the tunes and breakdowns of the songs we're writing. currently, we're still composing our stuffs.

ps. i haven't or forgot to tell Josh about this new side project lulz

Drillface Record's TOTAL PWNAGE 4 way split (Dilapidated Buko Pie, Sunny Day Happy Tunes, xBrokenxTokenx, Tambora Noisexcore Project)

ok me and my crew in Drillface records come up with a 4 way split with my and Josh' Dilapidated Buko Pie, Sunny Happy Tunes (owned by josh himself), Darell's fictional band xBrokenxTokenx, and my own Tambora Noisexcore Project.

click here to download it ;)

or if you want to support, you can contact us and buy it for P30.

semi-hiatus for a moment

last week due to overlistening to tunes like "jung jung tiiieeengk jung jung tieengkkk durugpak durugpak duguduguduguduk pak! aym a barbie gerl in deeehhh barbie wuuu uurhh urrllddd", ive decided to put my side project Dilapidated Buko Pie on hiatus. uhm semi hiatus hahaha

i mean i going to put down some major activities for DxBxP like composing songs and mass producing d.i.y. demos. it's kinda resting for a while to its comedy/grindcore/punk/techno rave tunes. anyway, i will never gonna stop producing our demos. :P

if you want a hard copy for DxBxP's demos and EPs just contact us on our website (http://www.myspace.com/dilapidatedbukopie)

or to me and Josh' facebook account
